VL-MIC110 – MEMS Microphone Array: Multi-Unit Cascading for AV Conferencing
The VL-MIC110 utilises a quad array of MEMS omnidirectional microphones, engineered for consistent voice capture within a 3 to 5 metre radius. Designed for integration with the VL-VB300 system, the unit connects via standard Cat cable using supplied extension dongles, supporting flexible placement in meeting rooms, huddle spaces, or control environments. The architecture accommodates cascading of up to five microphone units, enabling scalable coverage for larger or irregularly shaped spaces. Integrated signal processing features, including acoustic echo cancellation (AEC), automatic gain control (AGC), and active noise suppression (ANS), facilitate clear, full duplex audio transmission in professional AV installations.

• Quad MEMS Microphone Array: Four omnidirectional MEMS elements capture audio from all directions, supporting consistent pickup across a 3–5 metre range for group conferencing or collaborative workspaces.

• Integrated Signal Processing: Built-in AEC, AGC, and ANS modules process incoming audio to suppress echoes, regulate input levels, and minimise background noise, optimising speech intelligibility in acoustically challenging environments.

• Cascading Capability: Up to five microphone units can be cascaded via Cat cable, extending the pickup area and supporting flexible microphone placement for larger meeting rooms or multi-zone coverage.

• Mute Control with LED Feedback: A dedicated microphone mute button provides immediate local control, with integrated LED indicators delivering clear visual feedback on mute status for participants and operators.

• Cat Cable Integration: Connection to the VL-VB300 system is achieved using standard Cat cable and included extension dongles, simplifying installation and supporting longer cable runs without signal degradation.
